Come play at the Tree House Together!

Our playground is a destination for all ages and abilities to gather to play, grow, and explore together. The Tree House was intentionally designed to incorporate features which allow full access to children and even adults who experience limited mobility. From the soft ground surface to our Liberty Wheelchair Swing, the Tree House has a safe place for everyone to comfortably play.

Visitors - please play with respect, care, and safety in mind. Share, assist, and play with kindness.

Community Designed

The Tree House Playground is the culmination of hopes and dreams of children in the Lititz community. The playground is unique to the needs and wants of the children and their families. Designers met with elementary school students, encouraging them to dream big and create their idea of a perfect playground. If you dream it, you can play on it. The designers compiled the children’s ideas and designed what is now The Tree House Playground.

Community Funded

The Tree House is completely funded through the generosity of community businesses, organizations, families, and individuals. Since this project is custom-designed to meet top safety standards for children of all abilities, it relies on the support of the community in Lititz as we work together to maintain this safe and beautiful playground for our children.

Support the Playground

Community Built

In September of 2020, the community joined together to build this playground. Over a period of ten days, more than 550 community volunteers gathered together with hammers and screwdrivers in hand to complete the job fast! The onsite supervisors from Play by Design ensured that the Tree House project was completed quickly with safety and fun in mind. The Tree House Playground officially opened for play on October 24, 2020.
